Guatemalan Roots

Guatemala is a country in Central America with a territorial area of 108,889 square kilometres. It is administratively divided into 22 departments and 340 municipalities, with incredible potential to produce agricultural goods, tropical fruits, and essential foods for human consumption.

It is a blessed land that allows for the cultivation and production of coffee, which has contributed to the development of communities and the Guatemalan people, providing economic independence to families. Through their efforts, talent, and continuous growth, they create job opportunities that improve their quality of life.

It is estimated that coffee cultivation occupies 3.5% of the national territory, involving 125,000 producing families and generating more than 500,000 jobs annually. Guatemala has 8 regions with conditions that create an ideal environment for producing a variety of coffee types in harmony with the country’s natural resources and biodiversity. About 98% of the coffee is shade-grown and hand-harvested, allowing for better bean selection.

Family Bake Café Corporation is a united family with values rooted in faith, obedience, and reverence for God. We have been guided to establish this blessed family business, created with the purpose of blessing all those who directly and indirectly participate in coffee cultivation, and to make Guatemalan coffee available to both consumers and connoisseurs.

This is a specialty coffee, cultivated at elevations of approximately 2,250 to 5,500 feet, using carefully selected beans and an appropriate roasting process to achieve excellent acidity, a balanced body, and a fragrant aroma that reflects the origin and exquisite quality of Guatemalan coffee.
